Central Counties Regional heat of the Young Achievers Award 2008

 

Our Young Achiever Award is the Club’s way of recognising the achievements of our younger members.

We know all our young people are special, but during 2008 we are looking for really exceptional young men and women for whom the world of camping and caravanning has become an outlet for their talents – and who deserve extra recognition for their continued hard work over the past year.

We hope to see entries from all over the country – from parents, friends, or the young people themselves. If you know a true Young Achiever, why not enter him or her into this year’s Camping and Caravanning Club Young Achiever competition?

Achievers will need to fill in an entry form (or a friend or parent can do this on their behalf) and enter through their local District Association (DA), Region, Special Interest Section or directly through Club Headquarters.

Entries will be divided into two separate age categories:

  • 12-14
  • 15-17 inclusive 

A National Winner will be selected from each of these categories.

The entries from each Region, Section and Headquarters will be judged at this stage. Each of these Winners will receive
a £100 prize and a Young Achiever Certificate.

They will then go forward to the National Young Achiever final, where a Winner from each age category will be chosen. The two National Winners will receive a further £250 prize, along with a prestigious gold Young Achiever badge.

The National Young Achiever Award Winners will be invited to attend the Club’s National Feast of Lanterns meet with their families, where the overall prizes will be presented to the successful youngsters.

Completed entries must be received by the end of June 2008, so start nominating now.
