THS Stewards Urgently Required

Fancy a FREE HOLIDAY then read on

Central Counties Region

Urgently require a person to act as an assistant Steward to the main Steward at their Temporary Holiday Site situated at Watermeadows, Chapel St Leonards, from Saturday 06^th August to Saturday 20^th August.

In return for booking campers on & off site the CCR will provide you with free camping and electricity for the duration, and will also reimburse your travel costs to and from the site.

Trent Valley DA

Urgently requires a volunteer to act as a Steward at their Temporary Holiday Site situated at Windy Harbour Caravan Park, Blackpool from Saturday 14^th August to Tuesday 31^st August. You will also be entitled to the same benefits described above.

Special Presentation

February 8th, 2010

The Region Chairman, Norman Hemsley, presented a pair of cut glass drinking glass’s to Larry and Jean Brown.

The presentation, made at the 2010 Regional Dinner Dance, was for the hard work and commitment by both Larry and Jean made during Larry’s term of office as Regional Chairman 2006 ~ 2009. It was met with acclaim by all those present.

Regional Dinner Dance 2010

January 31st, 2010

The Regional Dinner Dance was held at Drayton Manor on Saturday 6th Feb 2010

A wonderful dinner was followed by a great social evening with dancing to Mark Derek. The compare for the night was the Regions Vice President Roger Bishop and a great time was had by all.

The dinner was attended by 129 people with most of them camping at Drayton Manor

The Regions thanks go to Christine Higgins for organising the entire event.

Congratulations

October 5th, 2009

Congratulations go out to:

Daniel Vernon for winning the National young achievers award for age group 12 to 15 years. Daniel suffers from crohn’s disease, but this has not stop him from carrying on a normal life and attending school as much as possible, and carrying on with his passion for playing the guitar. Daniel carries on regardless through any adversity that is put in his way and is an inspiration to all of us. A very big well done from all in Central Counties Region.

Trevor Cook on his achievement of being awarded the Club’s Certificate of Honour. Trevor’s initial citation was put forward by Leicestershire DA, the Region then sent the citation onto the Clubs HQ where it was approved by the National Council. A very well deserved presentation was made at the Goose Fair meet. Well done Trev!
