We are offering you an opportunity to visit the site of the 2011 NFOL, meet the organising team and learn what we are planning.
The ‘not quite a’ Regional Meet will be a weekend of camping with friends old and new, with evenings of entertainment to enjoy and the usual inter-D. A. Volleyball competition.
The winners of which will be put forward to the national volleyball meet in July. Six pitches at the National Volleyball Meet will be paid for by Central Counties Region for the winning team on condition they take part (Please note this is applicable to Central Counties Region DA’s and Sections only).
The Mardi Gras, Horace Ringrose Competition and Opening and Closing Ceremonies will be missing, but we will run workshops for Stewards and other Volunteers and try to show how we are preparing to make you proud that your Region is putting on a “Best of British” NFOL for the rest of the Camping and Caravanning Club.
The Officers of the NFOL committee will explain their roles and recruit interested individuals to join their rotas over the August Bank Holiday Weekend.
Please come along and meet the team, you might enjoy supporting us in this special venture, if not you could just enjoy a pleasant relaxing weekend in the heart of the English countryside.

Region Officers Meeting June 2010

July 30th, 2010 by Phil Henson No comments »

The Regions Officers meeting took place at Thoreseby Park North Nottinghamshire, this meeting is where all DA and Section officers meet to discuss new idea’s and exchange views on how they think their voluntary jobs can be successfully done. The people who attended were voluntary PRO’s,Site Officers,Web Managers,Secretaries,Chairpersons,Youth Leaders and many more.

We were very fortunte to have in attendance The Club’s Chairman Mr Keith Jackson,Hon Treasurer Mrs Sally Birch and Chairman of Communications Committee Mr Steve Birch.

Each one of our guests from the Club gave very interesting talks: Keith ~ realationship between the Club and Regions,Steve ~ Communications between the club and it’s members,Sally ~The Club as a bussiness or not whichever it may be

All the presentations made were excellent and very interesting but Sally’s talk really made our members think about out “Club” in different ways.

Central Counties Region would like to say thank you to our guests for their presentaions,Trent Valley DA for hosting the weekend and to the officers and members from all parts of the region for attending.
We hope to be organising another officers meeting next year in another County of the Region for both new and established committee members.
